Facts and Events
Name Elizabeth Unknown
Gender Female
Marriage Abt 1641 Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United Statesto George Carr
Death[1] 6 May 1691 Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States

Often presumed to be dau of Thomas Oliver of Boston, although not named in his will. Recent article on Oliver shows she is most likely Elizabeth Dexter [NEHGR 157 (2003): 34 The English Origins of Thomas Oliver of Boston]. She is not attributed to either Thomas Dexter or Thomas Oliver in The Great Migration Begins; however, Anderson discusses both possibilities in his sketch of George Carr in The Great Migration, concluding that she is almost certainly not daughter of Thomas Oliver, but is possibly daughter of Thomas Dexter.
