  6. Betty lived in Freeport Long Island, New York until she was between theages of four and seven. During this time she lived with her GreatGrandmother Anna Ramsire from her father's side. They lived in anapartment building. Anna hung a swing in the window so that Betty wouldhave somewhere to play. Betty was removed from Anna's care whenneighbors reported the swing in the fourth story window.

    Alice Elizabeth Langdon. Alice Langdon was a governess for "Dr. Anne" .Dr. Anne was a doctor at the hospital that Betty was born in. Thehospital was located in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Anne was distantlyrelated to Betty.

    Betty and Alice moved to Lincoln Park, Michigan with the "doctors" whenthey moved.

    Alice and her spouse never adopted Betty because Ethel (Brooks) Tobindisappeared and her family would not release any info about her. Thefamily wouldn't allow the adoption. John Tobin was lost during this timealso. John and Ethel were divorced in 1980.

    Betty remembers meeting Martha and Ed Kerwin who were her aunt anduncle. Kerwin was the president of Nibisco Foods. They also lived onRutland Rd.

    Betty has a half sister from John Tobin's marriage to Mary Tobin.
