↑ Source:The Gardiners of Narragansett : being a genealogy of the descendants of George Gardiner, the colonist, 1638, prints a correction on p. 249 of an error on p. 63, which originally assigned a death date of 13 Sep 1757 to this Elizabeth. In the correction, it argues that this death date belonged to Person:Elizabeth Sweet (2) who also married a man named Peter Wells. The argument or this notes the recorded death of Sarah, d/o Peter Wells, on 18 Sep 1757, and concludes she must be a daughter of the other Elizabeth, not this one, and suggests that all three of the 1757 deaths: Peter, Elizabeth and Sarah, were probably all the results of an illness ravaging that other family Family:Peter Wells and Elizabeth Sweet (2).
