Elizabeth Robinson's origins are unknown. Her first sighting is in 1778, when she married Francis Newborn at Barnack in Northamptonshire. They were married for just under ten years, and appear not to have had any children. Elizabeth died in 1788 and was buried at Barnack.^[2]

2. ↑ Although Elizabeth's burial simply records her name as Elizabeth Newborn with no indication of age or relationship, we can be reasonably certain that this burial must be her, as it is the only burial of an Elizabeth Newborn at Barnack before Francis's second marriage in 1792.
