BIOGRAPHY: Note: The 1910 Census shows that Elizabeth owned the house free (not mortgaged). She rented part of the house to Mr. & Mrs. Leroy McBain; Mr. McBain was a native of Kentucky, and his wife Emma and 11-year-old son Earl were natives of Michigan. Earl was apparently the son of Mrs. McBain's first marriage, since the census shows that the McBains had been married for three years, and it was Mrs. McBain's second marriage.
