Vital statistics of Hopkins County dated 1857 shows that Sarah Todd, a child of Joshua and Ezlizabeth, was born in Madison County. In the 1830 census of Hopkins County, Elizabeth Todd, aged 50-60 years, was head of household. In the 1840 census of Hopkins County, John Todd was head of household with Elizabeth listed as a female between 60 and 70.
