Children of Francis Norwood and Elizabeth Coldan, b. Gloucester 17 Feb 1668, d. Leicester 1709, m. Lynn 27 May 1692 John Potter, s/o Robert Potter and Ruth Driver. Will of Francis Norwood [Essex Probate 19653], dated 23 Jan 1705, mentions daughter Elizabeth Potter, wife of John Potter of Lynn.
[Note: the article says the family moved to Leicester about 1720 which raises questions about the asserted death of Elizabeth in 1709 in Leicester. There is a death record for Rebecca, wife of John, in 1754, suggesting the possibility that he remarried, but the article doesn't mention a second marriage. There is no record of the death of Elizabeth in Lynn or Leicester. An article on the Potters in Vol. 19, p. 149, places her death in Leicester, but gives no date, and no indication of a second marriage.]
