[Note: the Hobart Journal, transcribed in NEHGR, p. 121:273, says Elizabeth Leavitt d. 4 Feb 1688/89. As the History of the Town of Hingham shows no Elizabeth in its coverage of the Leavitt family that was born in time to die on this date except this one, and although she should have been known as Elizabeth Judkins at the time, she was at one time known to Peter Hobart as Elizabeth Leavitt, clearly they assumed it referred to her.
