Research Notes

  • Elizabeth is Zachariah Moorman's 2nd wife and was about 24 years younger than he was. Her parents lived next to his parents in Louisa County. She married him outside of the Quaker meeting about six months after the death of his first wife (Elizabeth Terrell). As a result, Zachariah Moorman was disowned by South River MM.
