The Death of Elizabeth (Howe) (Chadwell) (Jewett) (Jewett) Stickney

All the other possibilities for the widow Stickney dying at Byfield in 1738/39 can be eliminated as follows:

William1. Widow Elizabeth living 24 Sep 1678. Date of death not recorded but she was William's wife in 1638 making her at least 120 years old in 1738-9.

2. Amos2. Widow Sarah married Stephen Acreman and died in Newbury 7 Dec 1711.
4. John2. Widow Hannah died 23 Apr 1749 (Byfield Church record).

    "Elizabeth3 (How) (she was under 18 in 1651); m. 1st Benjamin Chadwell; m. 2nd John Jewett of Rowley, Mass.; she m. 3d 23 Oct. 1716, Dea Ezekiel Jewett as his 2nd wife. In a deed from her to her son Samuel Chadwell, made in 1714, and recorded in the Register of Deeds of Essex Co. She is described as 'ye only child of Joseph How of Lynn.'"
