Flora Democrat Obituary: Mrs. Abraham Flora died about three o'clock Friday morning after a lingering illness, at the age of 66 years and 15 days. Her health has been failing her for about seven years past, but the doctors have been unable to find the cause. Elizabeth Hawkins was born in Preble county, Ohio, Nov. 14, 1832 and moved with her parents to Howard county when six or eight years old, where she lived until she grew to womanhood. She was married to Jacob Moss in 1855 and lived on the Moss farm one and one half miles south east of Flora. She was left a widow in 1870 with four children: Jas. J., Frank A., Frannie E., and Lora: all of whom survive her. Mrs. Moss was married to Abraham Flora in 1872. The funeral will be held Sunday from the Old Order Church.
