Her tombstone is deteriorating and the complete death year is unreadable. Her death date on the stone reads 19 Sep 183_ - which would be a time span of 1830 to 1839.

Her death date must be 19 Sep 1838 or 1839, as proven by the settlement of her husband's estate, personal property was set off to the widow on 10 Jan 1838 by the appraisers. Therefore, her birth year would be 1768 to 1770. In the 70th year of her age - this often meant she had celebrated her 69th birthday and was now in her 70th year.

Proceedings recorded in Gallia Co., Ohio in Vol. D, pg. 265-267, Administrator Samuel R. Holcomb was appointed on the 27th Dec 1837. On 28th Feb 1838, appraisers George Eagle, Thomas Cherrington and Richard S. Kerr filed their Inventory and Appraisement, as appraised on 10th Jan 1838. The list of personal property set off to the widow of Jordan Manring, deceased, for her support:
