Elizabeth Bennett was the youngest daughter of Adam and Hannah Bennett. Adam Bennet was the enslaved overseer at Magnolia Plantation on the Ashley River, St. Andrews Parish, Charleston, South Carolina.

Elizabeth was born about 1890. She married Samuel Bailey.
