Obituary


Mrs. Amy Wood, formerly of Lansing and Leslie, died Wednesday in Pasadena, California. She is survived by the husband, Henry, and two cousins, Mrs. Minnie Fitch of Stockbridge and Mrs. Helen Driver of Lansing.

Obituary: Henry Wood, 94, of Pasadena, California, formerly of Lansing and Leslie, died Monday, Jan. 6 (1964).

Surviving are one nephew, Elvin D. Brown, of Okemos, and one cousin, Mrs. Rena Wright, of Leslie.

The body arrived in Leslie at the Luecht funeral home on Friday, where services were conducted Sat. at 3 pm with Rev. Russel Hoover officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Wood operated a jewelry shop and real estate office in Leslie from 1893 to 1923.
