    There's a complication with my mother's name. Her father made a mistake when he went to register her name, putting her Christian names in the wrong order. So officially her name was Elizabeth Florence Andrews and to this day she signs herself "E.F. Russell", (previously "E.F. Williamson") even though she was "Florence" to everybody.
