1850 census of Pittsburgh, living in home of George W. Kerley -Ward 3 Eliza Martin age 23 born Ohio no occupation not married in last year In Enos' wife, Helen's pension file were witness accounts that Enos had been married only three times and that his first two wives were deceased. A Vincent S. Martin had provided two depositions, on in Oct 1905 and the second one in Jan 1906. Vincent was 73 at the time, but his depositions made it clear that he was Eliza's brother. He knew that Enos and Eliza married in Pittsburgh and said he had lived with them in the winter of 1850 in Pittsburgh (My guess is that he meant 1851) He got her death date right and the names of all hers and Enos' children and where they lived in 1905 In both depositions, he claimed to be Eliza's brother and that Eliza was Enos' first wife.

In another deposition it was stated that after Eliza's death, Martha went to live in Columbiana Co Ohio from 1864 or 65 until 1869. It wa assumed that was to stay with Margaret and Robert Martin (Eliza's parents) and possibly until Margarets death before 1870.

It was found that in the 1860 Columbiana Co census that A Martha Turner (John Turner's wife) and a son David(listed in the 1850 PA census in John and Martha;s household) lived in a close by township of Yellow Creek. In Martha's will one thing she left to her son Cicero was property in Yellow Creek twp Ohio . so in 1860's both Eliza's parents and Enos's possible mother lived within 20 miles of each other. Maybe Martha stayed with both families.
