    Will of Eleazer Dow, dated 5 Jul 1725, proved 20 Aug 1725, "begins without the ordinary preamble", names "dearly beloved wife", "my three Children Namely Jonathan Dows, Mary Trow and Elizabeth Davis", "my daufters haveing shewed More love to Care of an Consarn fore me that Ever did my Son he is in all my Trouble far from my Suport and Comfortt and Still utterly unsettled", "if providence bereaves My doughteres of their Husbands..." [i.e., both married], "if Jonathan Comes home and Will dwell with his Mother Maried or Unmaried...", asks wife to confirm two deeds wherein he sold "Brother Jonathan Dows" some land, wife sole executrix "desiring Barthmo. Trow my Son in Law to assist ... intreatt my Loving and Trusty frend Joshua Scotto to be a Director". Inventory £1122, 10s., plus £720 in notes. 24 May 1739: Jonathan Dowse, Bartholomew Trow, Barnabas Davis bonded as administrators, Mary now deceased. 21 May 1742: Estate divided to Jonathan Dowse, Mary Trow and Elizabeth Davis, with assent given by Jonathan Dows, Bartho Trow, and Barnabas Davis.
