Bangor Hist. Mag Vol VI states that ET was d. of Abraham T and Leah Mansell (p 84) "Records of Deeds in Lincoln Records"

I now beieve this is just wrong. The pension record for Abraham T, b 17476, a letter from his son Thomas is included which lists living siblings. Eleanor is not mentioned at a time she is certainky alive. The conclusion is that she must be d.of Rwuben, granddaughter of Abraham. See also the following:

Note also that in the Lowell, Penobscot, ME 1850 census, she is listed as being in the adjacent dwelling (with her husband J. Varney) to Warren Mcpheters, her son. She is listed as 54 yr in 1850.

Grave reads:
