Note from "Barbara Wylie" <barb@johnwylie.com> Eddy Crain was a female the right age to be Edna. I figure it was her nickname or it was Texas-talk. I hear old timers say “Ed-knee” for Edna. It’s a short jump from Ed-knee to Eddy. My client was the grandson of Edna E. Crain and Hiram Alexander Thompson, who died after the 1900 Census, through their son Norman Hiram Thompson and Johnnie Juanita Dennis.
Norman Hiram Thompson was living at 311 Park Avenue, Electra, Texas in 1936, when he applied for his social security card. He was then employed by the Texas Pipeline Company. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~bhusler/~barneyt/bo-c2c.txt
