    16 Aug 1956, p 1 - EDWIN R CALLAWAY DIES IN CALIFORNIA. Friends here have learned of the recent death of Edwin R. Callaway, former Cambridge City resident and onetime part owner and operator of Wayne County's largest drygoods store, at Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Callaway was in business with his father, Ossian Callaway, in the Routh and Callaway store. Since retirement a number of years ago he had lived at Long Beach. Funeral services and burial were there. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ada Goebel Callaway; a son, Robert E. Callaway of Long Beach; two step-daughters, Mrs. Earl Thomas of Richmond and Mrs. John E. Fleming of Claremont, Calif.
