    Came to Dover abt 1635.

    In Dover, he was a representative in 1643 and 1646, and an elder in the church among other things. He left Dover because he became a Baptist. His whole family went with him except for Sarah (Austin) and Abigail (Coffin). He was one of nine persons who purchased the Island of Nantucket in 1659.
