Disposition of Land in Rockbridge County Records:


  • Page 53, 14 April 1789 - Edmund Crump and Eleanor his wife of Green Co. NC for one part and Moses Trimble of Rockbridge Co. for the other part. For 100 pounds paid by Trimble for a tract of land containing 142 acres, a part of land containing 142 acres, a part of 330 acres belong to James Bailey adj. John Taylor, James Bailey. Signed: Edmund (E) Crump and Eleanor (M) Crump Witnesses: Jno Lyle, James MCCampbell, Thos. Russell. [Rockbridge Ct.
