1862 - Living in East Rudham when baptised in June (at Fersfield).

1871 - With parents at Beechamwell St John & St Mary, Norfolk. Scholar, aged 9, born at South Lopham, Norfolk.

1881 - Edith was working as a nurse for the Craven family in Park House, Skipton Road, Steeton cum Eastburn, Yorkshire. Joseph Craven was a Justice of the Peace and farmer of 120 acres and lived with his wife and 6 children. They also employed a housemaid and a cook. She was unmarried and 19 years of age.

1891 - With husband at 1 St Georges Terrace, Pearcroft Road, Leyton (St Catherine), Essex. Age recorded as 27.

1901 - With husband and 3 children at 111 Dawlish Road, Leyton, Essex. Aged 36.

1911 - With husband, 3 children and nephew in 6-room house at 57 Scotts Road, Leyton, Essex. Aged 46, born at South Lopham, Norfolk. Married 20 years, total children 3, children still alive 3.

1943 - On September 17th 1943, Miss Kate Miller of 9 Barrack Rd, Christchurch, Hants, wrote to inform Beryl Lloyd (nee Musk, daughter of Edith) that her mother "passed away last Sunday the 12th Sept 1943. She went peacefully in her sleep." However, later in the letter she writes that Gwen [wife of Edith's adopted son, Reg] will write later to "tell you more about your mother. She have suffer and great age 81."
