OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Edgar Joseph Baumbauer, 45, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday evening at 10:20 o'clock in his home, 206 East Maple Street.
Mr. Baumbauer had been employed as the railway cashier at the Big Four station here since 1918. The major part of his life was spent in Wabash.
He was born in Indianapolis on Aug. 10, 1897, to Albert and Margaret (Hipskind) Baumbauer. He was married on July 11, 1923 to Marjorie Ogle of Marion. She survives together with two children, Richard and Marilyn, both at home. Mr. Baumbauer's mother, Mrs. Margaret Baumbauer of this city, also survives. A brother, Homer, died in 1935.
The decedent was a former member of Beta Beta chapter of Phi Delta Kappa and at the time of his death he was a member of the Railway Clerks' union.
The body was taken from the Wire Funeral home to the residence, 206 East Maple street, where friends may call. Funeral services will be announced later.
