    5 Aug 1749: "memorandum of What mr Ebenzer Parker Said he would have Done With Respect to the Settlement of his Estate (That is) that his Lands Should be Settled upon his two grand sons. That is Ebenezer Parker & Thomas Parker; and they to pay out. and that his silver money should be Equaly Divided amongs all his Children & the Children of his Dafter Elisabeth Rand Deceas'd: & that his Grand son Thom's Parker should have his hors or mare."
    28 Aug 1749: Warrant for commission to appraise estate. Also, commission to set off one full Third to Mary Parker (the said Deceased's Widow), and distribute remainder to Children.

    Oct 1749: Appraisal of Real Estate of mr Ebnezer Parker Late of Reading desest. Set out to ye widdow of ye s'd Desest one third part, "& as to ye Remaining two thirds wee are of ye opinion: will not acomadate for more then for one settelement". James Parker received of his father by deed of gift 37 acres and a barn. All others "refused to give us an aCoumpt of anything".
    20 Nov 1749: I the Within Named John Temple have ... cited the Heirs of mr Ebez'r Parker as followeth: (viz) Ebenezer Parker, Nath'll Brown Capt Timothy Poole mr Brown Emerson John & Thomas Rand ...
