    Ebenezer Farrington of Dedham married Mercy Cleavland of Walpole, Mass., Sept. 26, 1754, and lived at Walpole. They had ten children.

    [Note: according to wikipedia:Greenfield, New Hampshire, the area of Greenfield was settled in 1753 and became a town in 1791. This is not helpful, as the death date in 1787 precedes township, but all children (i.e., through 1779) are recorded in Walpole, so any settlement would be in the interval 1779-1787. However, neither birth nor death record is found, and so the location of neither event is known for sure, and this mention in an article on his grandson seems to be the only source for these dates?]
