Ebenezer left Fanny in Mankato, MN. He took their two sons back to NY. Records from Canton and Albany, NY show that Ebenezer was a widower at the time of his death. Evidently there was never a divorce. These records give Canton, NY as his place of birth, not Gouverneur as Family Records show.

In early years, Ebenezer was a stage coach driver. However, he retired as a Railroadman. He is said to have been a very harsh man.

Wed/Cert on file. No stone is marked for him at J. Cemetery, however there are two unmarked ones.

Alice B. Rice records show Ebenezer as being born in 1836 and DOD as 08/17/1909?
