Mrs. Dorothy (Lane) Sprague inherited the Coytmore mill in Maiden. Her brother John Lane released to Edward Sprague, Feb. 9, 1704-5, interest in estate of her father, "particularly to all that corne-mill in Malden now is possession of said Edward Sprague, with all the fences, banks, ponds, dams, ditches, sluices, runs, streams and water courses thereto belonging, with all and euery the privileges thereto, within the townships of Malden and Charlestown."
