- Dorothy Bancroft Naill Poland died on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the age of 86.
After raising her children, Mrs. Poland attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake and earned an MBA degree. During and after graduation, Mrs. Poland held several positions at the NASA Space Center, from which she retired in 1992.
She will be remembered by her family as a devoted mother and a great cook.
She is predeceased by son, Rex L. Poland.
She is survived by daughters, Sarah N. Wigginton and husband, David, Deborah L. Stephenson and husband, Michael; sons, Charles V. Naill and wife, Mary Kaye, David R. Naill and wife, Sandy, and Dennis M. Naill and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren are Stephen, Michael and Christopher Wigginton, Adrienne Harper and Russell Naill, Katelynn Naill, Tiffany Naill and Devin Kenny, Lauren Poland and Kristi Roan; great-grandchildren are Ashley, Jenna, Oliva, Alaina and James.
