10 Nov 1823: Dennis Trammell Senior of Lincoln Co. Georgia to Jilson Hopkins of Wilks Co. Georgia ... Dennis Trammell has this day delivered unto the said Jilson Hopkins certain small promissory notes to the dums of one hundred & ninety three dollars due on the twenty fifth day of December 1824 subscribed with his hand and baring date even with these presents... Now for and consideration of the sum of five dollars in hand paid hereby acknowledge for the better securing the payment of the aforesaid notes the said Dennis Trammell Sr. hath granted bargained and sold one negro woman Aggy about 24 years old & her female child named Jenny about six months old to have to hold to the said Jilson Hopkins ... nevertheless if the said Dennis shall duly pay the aforesaid hundred & ninety three dollars the indenture will be void. 14 Nov 1828: Dennis Trammell of Lincoln Co. GA of the one part to Isaac Willingham of Columbia Co. Georgia - for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to him in hand paid hath sold and conveyed a tract of land lying in Lincoln county on Little River commencing on the River at Willow Corner.. to a Poast oak corner to P. Haus line ... to Peter Trammell's line and running with his line to Thomas Curry's line ... to Morris land thence to Wakers (?) corner to the beginning containing 300 acres more or less.
