Mr. D. L. Williams, a well known citizen of Brookville, Montgomery county, O., has ten children who are school teachers, each with a first class certificate. It is not probable that Mr. Williams could be emulated in that line in Nantucket, where school teachers were invented. Nantucket reminds us that there was logic in making it the home of teachers, because it was also the home of whalers.
