1762, 13 Dec. - Robert Bignall of the Town of Tarborough to Susanna Meade, Richard Randolph, George Walker, and John Driver, executors of the will of David Meade, deceased, of the Colony of Virginia, for £20 Proc. money one lot in the Town of Tarborough known as Lot No . 90 in the plan of the town, to be kept in trust for the purpose of keeping a store and carrying on a trade, pursuant to the will of David Meade, deceased. Wit: Thomas Dixon, James Cohoon. DB C, p. 56.

    [Andrew Meade] left a son, David, and a daughter, Priscilla, who married Wilson Curle, of Hampton. David Meade, the son, inherited the paternal estate, and about the year 1729 or 1730, married Susannah Everard, the elder of the two daughters of Sir Richard Everard, Bart., of Broomfield Hall, Much Waltham Parish, in the County of Essex, England, and Susannah Kidder, his wife, eldest daughter of Dr. Richard Kidder, Bishop of Bath and Wells.
