• Page 268.--20th December, 1791. George Finley, of Washington County, to David McNair, patent to George 1st February, 1781.

• Vol. 2 - Burgess vs. McNair-(undated, appears to be abt. 1821-1825) - O. S. 326; N. S. 117--Bill by John Burgess and wife Hannah, who was daughter of David McNair of Augusta, who died 1805, intestate, leaving nine children still alive, viz: James, David, John, William, Ward, Polly, Betsy and Martha and oratrix, and widow Elizabeth.

Washington; to daughter Ann, daughter Rebeckah (a negro slave, said slave is to attend Mrs. Archer during her life; to daughter Martha, daughter Rachel; to father, negro Nelson to wait on him his lifetime; to sister, Rebecca.
