    11 This name, sometimes written "Strang," is a sad corruption of the original form of L'Estrange. Daniel L'Estrange was born in Paris, 1656. He married Charlotte, daughter of Francis Hubart, and had children Daniel, Henry, Gabriel, Penelope, wife of Samuel Purdy; Mary, wife of John Budd, and Lucy, wife of ___ Davis.
