Acquisition of Land from Chalkley's:

• LAND ENTRY BOOK NO. 1, AUGUSTA COUNTY. 1750, November 29th--Daniel Henderson, 100 (acres), on Spring Creek, joining Hugh Diver's entry of this date, two rights; 100, on Dry River Bottom, at a place called the Pond, two rights; 50 on Bever Creek, at the Big Spring, with one right.

• 7th August, 1761 - 650 acres on Beaver and Spring Creek were patented to Daniel Henderson, (as listed in land records below).

• Page 545.--16th August, 1766. Adam Stephenson and Rebeka ( ) to James Douglass, £17, 355 acres patented to Adam, 5th June, 1765; corner Daniel Henderson's survey; corner Daniel Smith, Henderson's former survey. Teste: Samuel Patterson, Samuel Colwell, Jno. Douglass. Delivered: John Stephenson, 9th November, 1768.

• Page 37.--6th June, 1772. Robert Henderson, eldest son and heir of Daniel Henderson, deceased, to John Henderson, his brother, on Bever Creek and Spring Creek, patented to said Daniel, 7th August, 1769.

• Page 115.-(undated, appears to be abt. 1775) - Property of John Henderson conveyed to John by Robert Henderson, son and heir apparent at law of Daniel Henderson, deceased, on Bever Creek.

• Page 138.--10th July, 1777. Robert Henderson and Mary ( ) and John Henderson, and Mary ( ) to Henry Miller, ironman. On 6th June, 1773, Robert conveyed to his brother, John, above, 675 acres hereafter conveyed, but before deed was fully proven the time expired in which it could be proved and title remains in Robert, although, but John has in the meantime sold 100 acres to Abraham Smith and Abraham Henderson; now convey 650 acres on Bever Creek and Spring Creek. The 650 acres were patented to Daniel Henderson, father of said Robert, and John, 7th August, 1761. Teste: Stephen and Abraham ( ) Harding, Alexander, Thomas and John Wade.
