Daniel Dugger was born ca 1799/1800 per his age on the 1850 census (50). He was born somewhere in Tennessee per the same source. Daniel's parents are unknown, though it is possible he is a brother to Alexander Dugger (c1804), James Dugger (1809) and John Dugger (1800/10) who lived in neighboring Itawamba Co., MS. They are all possibly children of Shadrack Dugger. Daniel Dugger is listed on an 1825 tax list in Monroe Co., MS. He isn't listed on the 1830 census as far as could be found. Daniel is listed on the 1840 census in Monroe Co., MS, the only Dugger there at the time.
