Cole, Daniel - entered service 1780 in Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia; born 1755 in Morris County, New Jersey; granted Pension 1833 in Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; last Pension payment in 1841; query letter in file from great granddaughter Ferne Cole (Mrs. J.G.) Lyman, Shreveport, Louisiana, states that she was daughter of Ransome Taylor Cole, son of Noah B. Cole (born in Alabama), son of soldier, further soldier's wife Marye or Marie, further soldier's other son's were Daniel, Thomas & Mason. R602.
