    Abstract:

    Dale King, age 90, of Stryker; born 18 Aug. 1917, near Archbold, Ohio; died Saturday morning, 17 May 2008, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold; son of Henry and Ida (Weber) King; married 18 Aug. 1940, to Lucille Leichty (died 22 Nov. 2002). He resided in Stryker area since 1940. He farmed for Lloyd Myers for 52 years, worked for Reitzel Machinery Sales in Archbold and Edon, was member of Lockport Mennonite Church.

    Survived by son, Dale Eugene King (Denver, Colo.); daughters, Barbara (husband Raji) Dabit (Southaven, Miss.), Donna (Wayne) Kauffman (Archbold), Cheryl (Timothy K.) Cron (Massillon); brothers, Olen King (Archbold), Andrew (Doris) King (Wauseon); sisters, Inez King (Archbold), Delilah King (Archbold), Martha King (Archbold), Florence Nofziger (Pettisville); 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded by parents; brothers, Freeman and Orville; sister, Dorothy Lantz.

    Visitation [19 May 2008], at Short Funeral Home, Archbold. Funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Lockport Mennonite Church, with Pastors Timothy D. Cron and Cliff Brubaker officiating. Interment at Lockport Cemetery.
