    Founded in 1934 by Cyril Hornstra, the company formerly known as Merchants Cash Register began as a simple repair shop. Over the years “Merchants” grew to be the Midwest’s largest supplier of cash registers while also providing exceptional repair services and support. The company’s current President Gary Hornstra, grandson of the original founder, changed the name to Merchants Solutions in 2001 to reflect the company’s focus in providing total Point Of Sale (POS) System solutions.
