Final Rites For Cynthia Baltz

Graveside services for Cynthia Baltz, LaVerne, CA, were held at the Postville Cemetery Feb. 22. Schutte's Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. The Rev. David Palm officiated. Funeral services were held Feb. 19 at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, CA.

Cynthia M. Baltz, the daughter of Frederick and Minnie Everman, was born in Postville June 12, 1985. She died at Pomona Valley Community Hospital, Pomona, Thursday, Feb. 16.

She was baptized Sept. 12, 1895 and confirmed April 4, 1909 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. She received her education in the Postville public school system.

She was united in marriage to Fred Baltz Sept. 30, 1919. They were the parents of three children.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church until she moved to California in 1959. She lived in Pomona from 1961 to 1974 when she moved to LaVerne. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Claremont, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter Deloras; four brothers, William, Rudy, Fred and Walter.

Surviving are two daughters, Doris L. Fangmon [sic] and Charlene M. Miller, both of LaVerne, and a grandson.
