↑The Monitor, Crook County, Wyoming Starts and Stops, 19 April 1912.
Last fall Mrs. George Moss died, leaving a husband and nine small children; last Friday evening the father died, leaving the family of little ones alone. This is a peculiarly sad case, and ought to appeal to those who can assist in such cases. They lived up on Lytle Creek, rather isolated and like people in hard circumstances, have kept the fact a secret as far as possible. Kind neighbors have come to the rescue, but it is more than one neighborhood can do alone to care for them. --Hulett Globe
↑ She gives her age in 1910 as 39, implying a birth date of about 1879. When she married, she gave her age as 17, implying a birth date of 1878. She does not appear in the 1880 Census with her parents, suggesting she may have been born after the census was taken.
