“Wm. Black & His Descendants” 181.CORLESTA JANE SCOTT (Callie) was born at Kenton, Hardin County, Ohio, March 10, 1850. She married Pearl O. Wood at Beloit, Mitchell County, Kansas, in 1877. He conducted a flour mill at that place for several years. She died at Leesburg, Indiana, about 1913, and was buried at Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio. I have been advised that they adopted a daughter, at age two or three years, Lucie, who married Jay Cordie. They also had a natural son:
