Portions of the following were taken from Clive's obituary: Clive Parkin Grant was Born July 2, 1913 to Joseph Crumb Grant and Mary Jane Parkin Grant in Lovell, Wyoming. He Married Catherine Dick, November 18, 1935, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. President Heber J. Grant officiated. Clive worked in the Baking Industry for some fourty-eight years. He served as a foreman and then a supervisor of the ZCMI Retail Bakery. He served as President of the Utah Retail Bakers Assn. He also worked in the frieght business for a number of years, as well as the SLC Fire Dept. Clive served as a bishop of the Second Ward in Liberty Stake and High Council. He served in various positions in the Valley View 7th Ward and stake. In addition to this, Clive was a member of the East Mill Creek Chapter of Sons of Utah Pioneers, serving as President and officer. When Clive died he was survived by his wife Catherine; daughter Catherine Kaye; sons Raymond Clive, Lynn Dick, and wife Kay Pedersen; seven grandchildren...;sisters Alice, Mary, & Venus. He was preceeded in death by parents and sisters Delsa, Virginia, & Lucy.
