Christopher Foot's origins have yet to be established. His first confirmed sighting is in 1743 by which time he was married to Mary. They had nine children baptised at Bere Ferrers in Devon between 1743 and 1765, although at least three of them died young. In 1747 Christopher was a party to a lease for two fields called Crossparks in Bere Ferrers. He was described as a yeoman at that time.

Christopher has yet to be traced after 1765.
