I am Christian's 7th or 8th greatgrand-daughter. His wife's name is Mary(Smith). I am related through his daughter Elisabeth. Christian and Mary had left Philadelphia in September of 1793 to escape yellow fever. He had come down with the fever on a stage coach and was let off at a farmer's work shed in Woodstown NJ where he later died. After the plague his wife returned to Philadelphia and had a head stone and foot stone errected where he was burried.(in the middle of 2 farmers fields called Eldridge's Hill in Woodstown NJ) If you need more infomation Please contact me. My mother, sister , and I are in the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) My Aunt Catherine was also in the D.A.R. and had researched our relation to him and his daughter Elisabeth. I have never heard about a Thomas PIERCY was he a brother? And could you give me any information about there relation. Thank you p.s. Christian and Mary lived on Front Street in Phila.
