    Charles Norbey, age 40, died 9 p.m. yesterday [29 July 1904], at St. John hosp., of inflammation of the bowels following an operation for appendicitis. He conducted the refreshment stand under the Turner hall. He was a member of the Eagles.

    Survived by wife, Mrs. Alice Norbey (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Olive), and one child. Funeral arrangements had not yet been made.
