Charles LEBLANC, born in 1717, son of Rene' & Jeanne LANDRY. A carpenter, he married 1st on 28 Sep 1747 at Grand-Pré to Anne BOUDROT, daughter of Claude & Catherine MEUNIER; two children listed. He married 2nd in 1758 in Southampton, England to Madeleine GAUTROT, daughter of Pierre & Marie BUJEAUD, widow of Pierre DAIGLE (see Family #93). Charles and his 2nd wife and 5 children and 2 stepchildren were in the Third Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes on 7 Dec 1775. With wife and daughter Marguerite they were Family #4 (Supplemental list) aboard the "St. Remi" which departed France on 20 Jun 1785 and arrived in Louisiana on 9 Sep 1785.

Charles LE BLANC, son of René & Jeanne LANDRY, married 1st at Grand Pré on 27 Sep 1745 to Anne BOUDROT. He and his family were exiled to England in 1755 where he remarried in 1760 at Southampton to Madeleine GAUTROT. He and his family were then sent to old France. In 1785 they all took passage on the ship "Saint-Rémi" to Louisiana (Reference: Milton P. GAUDET & Norma Gaudet-Rieder, THE CREW AND PASSENGER REGISTRATION LISTS OF THE SEVEN ACADIAN EXPEDITIONS OF 1785; p. 49).
