"...Charles S. Knight, for the last twenty-eight years actively and prominently identified with Fort Wayne industries and business, at one time manager of the Fort Wayne Gas company and later conected [sic] with the late R. T. McDonald in the Fort Wayne Electric company, passed away at his home on Spy Run avenue, opposite Lawton park, at 8 i'clock last night, after four weeks' serious illness with chronic Bright's disease. For several days before death, Mr Knight's condition indicated that the end was but hours away and death was not unexpected. ..."
