    Another entry on 2477 (Louisiana) [is apparently another man?] lists Charles DUGAS, born 1746, son of Claude & Anne HEBERT, who married around 1766 to Marguerite GRANGER. It also lists 2nd marriage at Saint Martinville [St. Martin, LA] on 4 Jul 1797 to Francoise TRAHAN, widow of Pierre HEBERT. The children of 1st marriage listed are Charles, born around 1766, and Marie-Josephe, born around 1767.

Charles and his wife and two children arrived at St. Malo from Boulogne on 28 May 1766 on the brigantine "Le Hazard." They resided at St. Servan from 1766-1768; at Plouer from 1769-1772.

He married 2nd on 18 Sep 1775 at St. Jean-Baptiste, Chatellerault, Vienne, France to Marguerite DAIGLE, daughter of deceased Joseph DAIGLE & Marguerite GRANGER; daughter. With his 2nd wife and four children he was in the Second Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes on 15 Nov 1775.
