BASSETT, 84, of Hammonton died Saturday at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton. Before retiring, Mr. Bassett was a self-employed paperhanger and painter and was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hammonton. He also served as secretary of the Methodist Men's Club. Born in Elwood, he was a Hammonton resident for 44 years. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; a son, Charles E. of Audubon; one daughter, Margaret A. Watson of Newfield; seven grandchildren... Services will be held ... Tuesday at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St. in Hammonton. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. References
